1. About this policy
This policy explains how Beauty Dream Studio (“we”) handles information when you use Heart Rate Monitor. The app provides camera-based pulse estimates, personal health records, activity tracking and reminders. Local health features and online advertising, analytics and messaging services are described separately below.
2. Health records and exports
You may enter and save heart rate, blood pressure, blood glucose, cholesterol, weight, tags, notes and reminders. Records are stored in the app’s local database and used to display history, ranges and trends. Blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol and weight values must be entered from measurements obtained separately; the app does not measure those values. If you choose to export records, the app creates a CSV file and opens Android sharing. The receiving app, service or person handles that copy under its own practices. Exported copies may remain outside the app after a record is deleted or the app is uninstalled.
3. Camera, activity and notification permissions
With camera permission, the measurement feature processes camera input on your device to estimate pulse. The flash may be used during a measurement. With the required device support and permissions, step tracking uses motion or step-sensor information. Notification and alarm capabilities support reminders and app messages. Some ongoing features may use an Android foreground service and show a persistent notification. You can change permissions in Android settings; a denied permission may prevent the related feature from working.
4. Android backup and device transfer
Depending on your Android version, device manufacturer and system settings, app data, including local records and preferences, may be included in system backup or device transfer. Selected push-registration state is excluded by the app’s backup rules. Android backup is managed by your device and its backup provider, separately from the app’s local database. Uninstalling the app does not necessarily delete existing backups or copies exported elsewhere. Review your system backup settings to manage those copies.
5. Advertising and privacy choices
The app integrates Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). Advertising services may process IP addresses, approximate location derived from network information, advertising or other device identifiers, ad requests, impressions, clicks and technical diagnostics. These services support advertising, measurement, security and fraud prevention. Ad personalization and available choices depend on your region, consent, device settings and the service configuration. Where applicable, UMP presents privacy messages. When the app provides a privacy-options entry, you can use it to review available advertising choices. Android may also provide controls for your advertising ID.
6. Analytics, diagnostics and remote configuration
The app uses Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config to understand feature use, diagnose failures and deliver configuration. Information may include app interactions and feature categories, app and operating-system versions, device brand and model, region, installation identifiers, configuration-request information, crash traces and diagnostic events. For example, an event may identify that a heart-rate feature or a reminder was used; this is different from the health readings saved in your local database. Service SDKs may independently process network and installation information even though the app does not add its own public-IP lookup or hardware-derived user identifier to its events.
7. Push messages and reminders
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) supports remote app messages. When active, it uses registration and installation information, topic subscriptions and message-delivery information. The app records receipt and handling outcomes for diagnostics and analytics. You can manage remote-message preferences where provided in the app and control notification permission in Android settings. Turning off notification display at the operating-system level does not necessarily stop registration or all background message processing. Local scheduled reminders are separate from FCM.
8. Sharing, service providers and international processing
We use the service providers described above for advertising, analytics, reliability, configuration and messaging. Those providers may process information on systems outside your country under their applicable terms and safeguards. When you choose to share a file, open a third-party page or send a support email, the destination you select also handles the information. Information you send to contact@yuzhensoftware.com is used to respond to your request. Please avoid sending unnecessary health details in support messages. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address security issues or protect legal rights.
9. Retention, deletion and security
Local records remain until deleted through available app controls, app-data clearing or uninstallation, subject to backup and exported copies. Service providers retain online data according to their settings, service terms and legal obligations; these periods may differ from local storage. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information under our control, or exercise other applicable privacy rights. We may need information reasonably necessary to locate and verify the relevant records, and may be unable to identify data that cannot reasonably be linked to your request. Legal retention obligations may limit deletion. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Health information and children's privacy
Heart Rate Monitor is a wellness and personal-record app, not a medical device. Camera pulse results are estimates and must not be used for diagnosis or treatment decisions. Please read the separate Medical Disclaimer. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our support channels or services, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. The effective date appears at the top of this page.
